Our commitment
Hocking Hills Serenity Cabins is committed to making our website and our lodging accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities. We are continually working to improve the experience for every guest and to apply the relevant accessibility standards.
Website accessibility
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. Steps we take include:
- Semantic HTML and a logical heading structure on every page
- A "skip to content" link and keyboard-navigable menus
- Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
- Color combinations chosen for readable contrast
- Responsive layouts and adequately sized, well-spaced tap targets for touch devices
Some content is provided by third parties — including our online booking calendar, embedded maps, and 3D property tours — and its accessibility may be outside our direct control. If any of these prevents you from completing a task, please contact us and we will help you directly.
Accessible cabins & lodges
Several of our properties offer accessible features:
- Dogwood Lane Lodge — an entrance ramp and a main-level walk-in shower.
- Maple Hill Retreat — designed as an accessible family cabin.
- Sunset View Lodge — a wheelchair-accessible main floor.
Because our cabins sit in a natural, wooded setting with hills and gravel drives, terrain and grounds vary by property. If you have specific mobility needs, please call us before booking and we'll help you choose the best fit and confirm what each property can accommodate.
Need help, or have feedback?
If you have trouble using any part of our website, need information in another format, or would like to discuss an accommodation, we'd love to hear from you — and your feedback helps us improve.
